A LITTLE ABOUT US

         Paradise Found

Nestled just off Lake Scugog is a river called the Nonquon. The Nonquon river glides through Seagrave, winding through Mariposa where a quaint park awaits you. Here, you can picnic under the towering Willow trees enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The Nonquon river is home to, many wildlife species including the Blue Heron, Kingfisher, Painted Turtle, Beaver, Muskrat, Geese and a variety of other animals.

As we set out on our tour through Muskie Alley we are often greeted by swooping Herons, jumping fish and curious Beavers. If you are fortunate enough you may see the cows and their calves, playing in the river as we paddle by.

While out kayaking one spring day we began to discuss how it was a shame everyone didn't get to experience the beauty of nature and kayaking on the Nonquon river. It didn't take long for the business idea to come to life.

We moved to Seagrave to get away from the busyness of Port Perry. Little did we know that the Nonquon River was about to change our lives. We  quickly found ourselves on the water almost daily. Nature’s beauty never gets old. We are forever grateful for the many spectacular sights we have been so privileged to see in our short time here. We decided to share our paradise with others. Once you are out on the water, all of your troubles just seem to melt away. It is like you gain clarity about what really matters in life.

Welcome,
As an addictions and mental health worker life can be stressful especially combined with invisible disabilities. I find kayaking to be a great way to relieve stress, exercise and reconnect. I am looking forward to getting back out on the water with old and new friends.
