Welcome to Riverview:
Where the River Meets Renewal.
Located on the peaceful Nonquon River in the heart of Seagrave, we’re a family-run sanctuary dedicated to helping you disconnect from stress and reconnect with what matters most. This isn’t just our business—it’s our home, and our passion.
Our Story:
A Leap of Faith on the Nonquon
Sometimes, the most profound journeys begin with a single step—or in my case, a single paddle.
My name is Lorraine Kane, and Riverview was a calling born from stillness. After 25 years as a teacher supporting others' growth, the lockdowns revealed a deeper need in our community: a need for peace, connection, and healing.
“After much prayer and reflection, I took a leap of faith,” I often say. “I started with four kayaks and a simple goal: to help people rediscover the joy and calm that comes from time on the water. Kayaking is my happy place, and I wanted to share that gift with others.”
That small step ignited a beautiful evolution. What began with four kayaks has blossomed into a fleet and a full wellness experience, all from our property on the serene Nonquon River right here in Seagrave.
I invite you to experience that feeling for yourself.

"This was amazing and perfect from start to finish! Lorraine was lovely-she showed us the property, explained the best areas and ways to paddle and made sure the whole experience was easy and fun! There's a kayak launch to make things even easier too. The waterpath was calm and we got to see quite a bit of wildlife
We'll definitely be back soon!"
